SURROUNDINGS

In 15-20 minutes by car you can reach the sea: Baratti gulf, or the Rimigliano natural park or the sandy beaches of the east coast.
In Venturina, 10 km away, you can bathe in any season in the Calidario thermal lake, you should not miss this experience especially in winter. Around Suvereto there are many manèges where it is possible to organise rides of different capabilities.
With car drives shorter than two hours you can reach most of the famous Tuscan tourist destinations (Firenze, Pisa, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Uccellina park, Argentario, Amiata).
Ferry boats to Elba island  leave from the near  harbour of Piombino. The other islands of the archipelago can be reached either from Livorno or from Porto Santo Stefano.
